After breakfast and snake hunting, we headed off into work groups to do many different jobs around the campus. The girls here are painting the fence.

The Garden

I helped carry plants over to the garden for planting, with a group of other guys.

Chopping Wood

Kyle chopping wood.

Painting
Jamie, Kylie, and Ukrainian prepping stairs for painting.

In the Ukraine, it is said the painting is only for women.

While the girls painted, Tyler and I moved all the bunks out of the 4 rooms, then sanded the floors so they could be painted. While moving the bunks I probably found about 20 coins, with a total value of about 12 cents.

Moving Big Bricks

They weren't as heavy as they looked but after moving so many they got pretty heavy.

And then unload them all here. My arms were getting so tired, I almost dropped one on someone's foot.

Emily, Dez, Kate, Dani, myself, his wife, baby, then Sausha

For dinner we all split up into different groups to have dinner with the missionaries on campus. I went to Sausha's house, with Emily, Dez, Kate, and Dani. We had a translator to translate the conversation the entire meal. He shared his life with us, and we shared our lives, and future plans with him. Their house is very small, about 2 feet left of emily is the front door. about 2ft in front of us is their tiny table, then 1ft after the table, and you are at the Fridge, washing machine, and sink. Then they have a tiny space upstairs for their bedroom.

After dinner we had a meeting about the ministry going on in Ukraine, how it started and where it is going, a little missionary rally like thing. We had devos for the first time this night with the guys in our room. One of the guys translated everything, as everyone shared a little bit about their lives. Then when we went to bed even though we could barely understand each other, we fell asleep laughing hard, trying to say things in Russians, and joking in English with them.
