Flushing Meadows, a very famous and great place to skate, is no longr skateable, as of last Monday. They fenced in the fountain and are going to make the fountain unskateable. After all the years of skating there, and great atmosphere for skateboarders and families, they have decided to change that, and put skaters bank on the front steps of businesses that won't want them there. I am privilaged to have gotten to skate it one time in summer of 08. R.I.P. Flushing Meadows.
